For the last 25 years I have spent my career as a pastry chef, traveling the country working from retail baking to being an executive pastry chef at the worlds premier luxury hotel chain and everything in between.
You may have seen me on Peacock’s Snoop and Martha’s Very Tasty Halloween competition and on Season 3 of Food Network’s Best Baker in America, where I won the prize and the title of Best Baker in America
Growing up in a small town in central Pennsylvania baking with my Nana, I learned a love of making all things from scratch and I learned a love for chocolate.
Every room in her house would have a candy dish with a different candy in each, but chocolate was special, often kept hidden in a secret stash. She would always say she would have to hide it from herself so she wouldn’t eat it all.
It is in her honor that I am a craft chocolate maker now. Using my years as a chef to create seasonal chocolate with intention. Intention of flavor, responsibility to the farmers who grow the cacao, and sustainability for the planet so we can continue to enjoy this magical food that is chocolate.
